- The Baltimore Ravens have +25000 odds to win the Super Bowl.
- The team is given a 3% chance to make the playoffs after losing five games straight.
BALTIMORE – The Baltimore Ravens were once thought to be among the AFC’s best teams, now they’re a longshot to make the playoffs nonetheless to win the Super Bowl.
Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl 56 Odds
To put it gently, the odds are not in the Ravens’ favor. The team was once sitting with an 8-3 record and seemed to be a lock for the playoffs. Now, that is not the case. NFL betting sites now have the Ravens as an extreme longshot in the futures odds.
Super Bowl 56 Futures Odds
- Baltimore Ravens +25000
Their odds are so long not because of their poor performances, but because they have such a slim chance of even making the playoffs. It’s estimated to be a 3% chance of earning a playoff spot, so it’s technically not impossible.
All Baltimore needs is to win, have the Los Angeles Chargers lose to the Raiders, have the Miami Dolphins lose or tie to the New England Patriots and finally have the Indianapolis Colts lose to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Aside from the Colts losing to the Jags, it’s not an impossible outcome. For what it’s worth, the Ravens are expected to take care of what they can control in Week 18.
Ravens vs Steelers Spread Odds
- Pittsburgh Steelers +5.5 -110
- Baltimore Ravens -5.5 -110
What’s been a disappointing final two months of the season could end on a high note for the Ravens.
Is It Worth Betting?
To be fair, four of the team’s losses have been without Lamar Jackson and if the Ravens somehow happen to make the playoffs, any bettor that felt confident in the team before Jackson’s injury should feel the same way now.
Even with a backup quarterback and the occasional third-stringer as well, four of the five losses in this skid have come by a combined five points. Nobody in their right mind should unload their bankroll on a 250-1 longshot, but it may be worth throwing a small bet if there are some extra dollar bills laying around somewhere. Those betting on the NFL have likely made worse bets than this one at some point anyway.
