SBLVII Odds Say Winner Will Be East Of Mississippi River

• There are -130 odds on the Super Bowl 57 winner to be on the east side of the Mississippi River.
• A team from the west side of the Mississippi River has -110 odds to win the Super Bowl.
• Seven of the top-10 teams on the odds board are on the west side of the river.

LAS VEGAS – One of the more notable props for Super Bowl LVII is if the winning Super Bowl team will be from east or west of the Mississippi River.

The winning team residing from the east side of the Mississippi is the favored option being that the Buffalo Bills (+600) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+700) have the two shortest odds to win SB57. Not to mention, they both reside in different conferences as well making their case even stronger.

The only downside of betting on the winning team coming from the east of the river is that of the teams with the top-10 shortest odds of winning the Super Bowl, seven of them lying on the west side of the river.

Where To Get The Most Value

Clearly, anyone taking these odds will have better luck when betting on the longer odds for a team west of the Mississippi to come out on top being that they have seven chances alone in the top-10 odds.

Looking at the last 10 Super Bowl winners, six of them have come from east while four of them have come from the west. However, the landscape of the league has drastically changed in those ten years with six of the winners not even being in the top-10 shortest odds.

In fact, the last three winners have remained in the top-10 shortest odds for winning in which two of them reside on the wet side of the river in the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Rams.

Things have also trended in the wrong direction for east teams as well as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the only team from the east to have won a Super Bowl. The Cincinnati Bengals were the Super Bowl runner-ups last season, however, history is not on their side with just eight teams in history making it back to the Super Bowl the year after.

As for the Bills, they’ve been a great regular season team, but cannot get over their playoff struggles having only been to one conference championship game in their last four appearances.
