- The New Orleans Saints have +4000 odds to win Super Bowl 57.
- The Saints have +300 odds to win the NFC South.
- Jameis Winston has +425 odds to win the Comeback Player of the Year.
NEW ORLEANS – There is plenty to look forward to for the New Orleans Saints in 2022-23 and their betting odds across the board tell that story. They have seen a drop in some of their odds being that they lost some key pieces, but have done a nice job in replacing them.
The main reason behind their odds dropping slightly though comes solely on the lack of chemistry being that they haven’t played with each other at full strength either. It is worth noting that both Jameis Winston and Michael Thomas have been dealing with injuries over the last two seasons and have only played three games together.
Looking at how their odds have shifted, their Super Bowl odds went from +3500 to +4000, their odds to win the NFC Championship slid from +1600 down to +2000, and their NFC South odds have remained put at +300.

Jameis And MT Make a Case For CPOY
Going back to Jameis Winston and Michael Thomas, being that both of them are making their returns to the field this season, they are both leading the way in their odds to win Comeback Player of the Year.
2022-23 Comeback Player of The Year Odds
- Derrick Henry +350
- Jameis Winston +425
- Michael Thomas +750
- Christian McCaffrey +750
- Daniel Jones +800
- Mitchell Trubisky +1000
Looking at Jameis Winston, he hasn’t played a fully healthy season since 2019. In that 2019 season, he put up career-high and league-high numbers at 5,109 passing yards and 33 touchdowns. He did this with an above-average receiving core led by Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. He now has another above-average core in Michael Thomas, Jarvis Landry, and Chris Olave. That said, the Saints have set him up nicely to succeed in his return.
As for Michael Thomas, he follows right behind him, and rightfully so. In his last healthy season, he put up astronomical numbers in 1,725 receiving yards and 9 touchdowns as the teams WR1. Now he is stepping back into that WR1 role and with his familiarity in the offense already, it is hard seeing the play callers not go back to a system that worked with him just three seasons ago.
