SAN FRANCISCO – Going into Week 11 of the season, the odds to win Super Bowl 57 have seen some drastic shifts all across the odds board leaving little time to get in on value on certain teams. Teams to keep an eye on from all over the Super Bowl 57 betting odds include the San Francisco 49ers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and New York Giants.
San Francisco 49ers (+900)
Following a Week 10 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers, Super Bowl betting sites have shifted the 49ers odds to under +1000 to win making it now four total teams with under +1000 Super Bowl odds. The Niners went into Week 10 at +1200 odds.
The 49ers could very well see their odds coast even shorter throughout the rest of the season as they have the eighth easiest remaining schedule in the league as their remaining opponents have combined for a 36-43 record thus far.
They have also hunkered down on both sides of the ball as they are top-10 in scrimmage yards per game this season (360.0) and are a top-5 defense letting up just 18 ppg to opponents. They are now 2-0 since trading for Christian McCaffrey having held teams to less than 2 touchdowns each week and have put up 3+ TDs of their own in both games. With both sides flowing, their SB odds could very well continue making their way down.
Something to take note of about the 49ers SB57 odds is that this is the first time since the 2019 season that they have odds under +1000 following Week 10. For those that might have forgotten, 2019 was the year they fell short of the Super Bowl.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+1800)
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, despite their midseason struggles, have also seen their Super Bowl odds take a friendly shift. Going into Week 10, they sat at +2000 which is the highest they have been in the three years that Tom Brady has been with the team. Following their second straight win though, betting sites have shifted the Bucs Super Bowl odds down to +1800.
On paper, the Buccaneers should be much higher on the odds board. Tom Brady currently has the second most passing yards in the league and the Tampa Bay defense has stayed true to who they are as the third best defense in the league allowing just 18 ppg.
After a 5-5 start through 10 weeks, things are looking up for the 2020 Super Bowl champs with the third easiest remaining schedule in the league as their remaining opponents have combined for just a 27-40 record.
New York Giants (+6000)
The New York Giants have been one of the biggest surprises of the NFL season as they sit at a 7-2 record through 10 weeks of the season and are just one win away from hitting over on their 7.5 projected win total.
Their odds prior to the week shifted up to +8000 following their Week 9 loss, however, after a Week 10 win over the Houston Texans, they’ve come down to +6000. Along with their 7-2 S/U record, they are also tied with the best spread record in the NFL as well at 7-2 and averaging a +3.6 margin on it. On the defensive front, they’ve also held their own allowing just under 20 ppg.
In comparison to previous years, the Giants Super Bowl odds are the lowest they have been following Week 10 since the 2016 season when they had +3000 odds which also led to a playoff run.
