There has been a lot of drama surrounding the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft and whether it’ll be C.J. Stroud or Bryce Young. Young opened as the favorite on NFL online sportsbooks but Stroud then took over after the Carolina Panthers traded for the pick. However, there have been recent reports that the Panthers have already locked in Young as their pick.

Despite these reports, NFL Draft odds have remained in favor of Stroud being the pick. Taking the reports into consideration, bettors should be all over Young’s odds before the value of them goes down tremendously as other reports come out.

Prior to the NFL Draft combine, it seemed as if the race for the first defensive player drafted was a two-way race between Will Anderson and Jalen Carter. However, Carter got into some off-field issues that caused his draft stock to fall leaving Anderson as the clear cut to be the first defensive player taken off the board.

These odds could be decided within the first five picks as both the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks are in need of help on defense. With Anderson being a utility weapon being able to line up anywhere on the defensive end, it makes sense that he would be the first defensive player taken.

Although Richardson is favored, bettors should keep an eye on Levis’s odds. There shouldn’t be any doubts here regarding Smith-Njigba’s odds. He is regarded by many as the best receiver in the class. While Addison is a quality receiver, he just doesn’t stack up against Smith-Njigba. In 2021, Smith-Njigba shared the field with both Chris Olave and Garret Wilson and still led the team in receiving yards with 1,606 yards and 9 touchdowns.
