Chiefs Eye Another Super Bowl, Extend Reid, Veach Contracts

KANSAS CITY – The Kansas City Chiefs front office has had a busy offseason coming off defeating the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 54.

The Chiefs have committed to keeping their core intact by resigning quarterback Patrick Mahomes, tight end Travis Kelce, and defensive lineman Chris Jones to multi-year extensions all in one offseason.

Keeping that trend going, the Chiefs have reached agreements with both their head coach Andy Reid and general manager Brett Veach to remain with the team.

Both Reid and Veach are now locked into being with the team through the 2025 season. The six-year deals for both the GM and head coach are well deserved as the Chiefs have won four AFC West division titles and have made two trips to the AFC Championship game under their leadership.

Reid has long been considered one of the best head coaches in the NFL and now will be paid like it.

The Chiefs championship window is wide open and keeping Reid long term means Kansas City should be one of the most bet on teams in all of the NFL.
