- The Baltimore Ravens are favored by 6.5 points over the Chicago Bears despite being on the road.
- This is the third time this season that the Bears are home underdogs and they’re 0-2 ATS so far.
- The shading is in Chicago’s direction with -115 betting odds to cover the spread.
CHICAGO - The Chicago Bears will host the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday as they try to beat the odds as a home underdog.
Chicago Bears As A Home Dog
The Chicago Bears have been underdogs at home twice in their four games this season and haven’t performed too well going 0-2 straight up and ATS. NFL betting sites may once again be giving the Bears too much credit in their game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Bears vs Ravens Spread Odds
- Baltimore Ravens -6.5 -105
- Chicago Bears +6.5 -115
However, something will have to give as the Ravens haven’t been too good as a road favorite this season either. Baltimore is 0-3 ATS as a road favorite in 2021 including last week’s loss to the Miami Dolphins.
The Ravens have actually lost two of their three games straight up with their only win being against the Detroit Lions thanks to the record-setting 66-yard field goal as time expired.
Bears vs Ravens Moneyline Odds
- Baltimore Ravens -270
- Chicago Bears +220
Given Baltimore’s struggles, bettors may be interested in betting on the Bear moneyline. However, with neither team showing much promise as of late, bettors may decide to stay away from the game altogether.
Betting The Total: 45.5 Points
Those betting on football may be more inclined to bet on the total as it may be the most exploitable line of the game.
The Bears average this season is just 40.6 points per game while the average Ravens game has totaled 49.8 points per game. The UNDER is 3-6 in Chicago’s game this year and seems to be in a good spot to move to 3-7 after Sunday’s game.
Bears vs Ravens Total Odds
- OVER 45.5 -110
- UNDER 45.5 -110
Baltimore allows just 88.2 rushing yards per game which is fourth-best in the NFL which should limit Chicago’s effectiveness as the fifth-best rushing team in the league (136.6 yards per game).
CBS will have coverage of the game starting at 1 p.m. EST on Sunday.
