KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Both Kareem Hunt and James Cook could be in line for sizeable performances against one another in the AFC Championship.

On Super Bowl sportsbooks, bettors should be taking a look at both of their rushing attempt totals. While neither is a true workhorse back, there is still value on each of these totals.

These Chiefs props are a bit low for a player of Hunt’s caliber and especially with the significance that he plays in this Kansas City offense. He’s gone over in 11 of 14 games that he’s played this season.

Granted, eight of those came while Isiah Pacheco was out with an injury. However, in six games that Hunt and Pacheco have played together, Hunt has gone for 8+ attempts four times.

Hunt is also playing a larger role than Pacheco as he’s outsnapped him in Kansas City’s last three games. That said, this is a great plus money spot for bettors to take on Hunt.

Cook’s usage has gone up even more this postseason and his Bills prop odd of 13.5 attempts is just too low of a number. He’s been beyond beneficial on the ground this season averaging nearly five yards per carry which has allowed Buffalo to use him as much as possible.

That has been proven in these playoffs thus far as he’s rushed for 17+ attempts in both games to this point. When looking at his previous playoff performances, he’s gone over in his last four playoff games including the Divisional Round against Kansas City last season when he went for 18.
