- The Los Angeles Chargers could be a good Survivor pick, with -310 odds to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars.

LOS ANGELES – Survivor Pools are in full swing in the 2022 NFL season, with Week 1 and Week 2 delivering upsets that have left them wide open.
One strategy for winning Survivor Pools is to simply pick the biggest moneyline favorites every week – as long as you haven’t picked them before.
This method is a chalk-y one, but it’s a relatively safe method of play that can be modified later in the season according to game theory principles.
With that in mind, let’s take a look at the biggest moneyline favorites in the NFL this week, and whether or not they’d be good NFL Survivor picks.
Los Angeles Chargers, -310 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
The Los Angeles Chargers are the biggest moneyline favorite of the week as they host the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Since 2003, these teams have played 12 times, and the Chargers have won nine of those games.
The risk of this pick is that Trevor Lawrence is finally looking like he might have arrived on the NFL scene, and Justin Herbert has a damaged rib that might impact his play.
Interesting note from @NFLResearch
Trevor Lawrence is 0-9 on the road. He will try to get his first road win Sunday against the Chargers.
The only QB to lose his first 9 road starts and win his 10th? Peyton Manning, who beat the #Chargers in Week 3 of his 2nd season.

Lawrence has never won on the road, losing all nine of his road games so far, but he’s in good company as a young QB doing that.
Philadelphia Eagles, -280 vs. Washington Commanders
The Philadelphia Eagles are clearly the dominant force in the NFC East with the Dallas Cowboys suffering an injury to Dak Prescott.
The Eagles are 2-0, fresh off of a dominating 24-7 win over the Minnesota Vikings, who themselves dominated the Green Bay Packers in Week 1.
It should be noted that the Eagles have a tradition of Week 3 struggles, failing to cover the spread in their last five Week 3 games.
However, they are a 6.5-point favorite in this game, so they could fail to cover the spread while still winning.
Cincinnati Bengals, -250 vs. New York Jets
The Cincinnati Bengals have frustrated many survivor pool losers already, with the defending AFC Champions starting the season out 0-2.
The good news for Survivor players is that this line has been consistently moving towards the Bengals, and by the time gametime rolls around, it could be even more in their favor.
The spread opened at Bengals -4, and has moved to Bengals -6 as of Friday.
