XFL Week 5 Gamelines
DC Defenders Vs. St. Louis BattleHawks
- Moneyline: Defenders (-130) vs. BattleHawks (+110)
- Spread: Defenders -2
- Total: 42.5 Points
This matchup has the lowest set spread of the week on XFL sportsbooks, however, the Defenders have won three of their four games this season by 6+ points. That includes a Week 3 win over the Battlehawks where they won 34-28.
On the point total, both teams should be able to do their part in hitting over 42.5 points. Both teams have scored 20+ points in all but one game this season.
Houston Roughnecks Vs. Seattle Sea Dragons
- Moneyline: Roughnecks (-165) vs. Sea Dragons (+140)
- Spread: Roughnecks -3
- Total: 42 Points
It's strange to see why XFL oddsmakers have set the spread so low in this one considering the powerhouse that Houston has become. They’ve scored 22+ points in every game this season and are coming off of a 44-point outing in Week 4.
Although the Sea Dragons have won their last two games, they came against an 0-4 Vegas Vipers team and a 1-3 San Antonio Brahmas. Their losses came against stronger teams in the Defenders and BattleHawks.
Vegas Vipers Vs. Orlando Guardians
- Moneyline: Vipers (-330) vs. Guardians (+265)
- Spread: Vipers -7.5
- Total: 42 Points
This matchup will earn one of these teams their first win of the season, however, despite both being 0-4, this game has the largest set spread being that the Guardians allow the most point for on the season.
Orlando has lost all but one game this season by at least 18 points. On the other hand, Vegas has just had some tough luck with two of their losses coming within just four points. They’ve also been able to score at least 18 points in three of their games.
San Antonio Brahmas Vs. Arlington Renegades
- Moneyline: Brahmas (-130) vs. Renegades (+110)
- Spread: Brahmas -2.5
- Total: 35 Points
This is expected to be another tightly kept matchup with both teams being separated by just one game in their conference. The Brahmas are 1-3 while the Arlington Renegades are 2-2.
Both teams are coming off of losses in Week 3 where they each failed to cover the spread.
The Brahmas have kept things somewhat close in their games this season losing by 9 or less points in each of their losses. Arlington has also played into the close games with both of their wins being decided within two points.

Rounding out the remaining teams under +1000 odds are the St. Louis BattleHawks and Seattle Sea Dragons who are in second and third place in the North Conference.
All other teams in the league have +1200 odds to win or more with three of them coming over +2000. The Renegades are holding on at +1200 being that only the top-2 teams in each conference will make the playoffs and they are in second place right now.
Each the Brahmans, Vipers, and Guardians should remain at the bottom of the odds board for the remainder of the season as they are no better than 1-3 right now.
