Week 2 XFL Odds
Seattle Sea Dragons Vs. St. Louis BattleHawks
- Moneyline: Sea Dragons (-145) vs. BattleHawks (+125)
- Total: 36.5 Points
- Spread: Sea Dragons -2.5 (-115)
XFL betting sites are in favor of the Sea Dragons here over the BattleHawks despite losing their Week 1 game while the BattleHawks won their opening game. Both teams put up 18 points in their games during Week 1. This matchup is the closest set spread of all four games in Week 2 given that both of their Week 1 games were decided by no more than 4 points.
Vegas Vipers Vs. DC Defenders
- Moneyline: Vipers (-145) vs. Defenders (+1250
- Total: 36.5 Points
- Spread: Vipers -3
Similar to the Sea Dragons being favored, XFL sportsbooks have the Vipers favored after losing their opening game while the Defenders won their game as an underdog. Although the Vipers lost Week 1, they did cover the +3.5-point spread that they were facing with their 2-point loss. Strangely enough, on the point total, 36.5 points seems low considering both teams put up 20+ points last week.
San Antonio Brahmas Vs. Orlando Guardians
- Moneyline: Brahmas (-160) vs. Guardians (+135)
- Total: 38.5 Points
- Spread: Brahmas -3
Both the Brahmas and Guardians are looking for a get right game in Week 2 after they both fell in Week 1. However, the Brahmas might have the advantage in this one being that they kept things close with the BattleHawks on just a 3-point loss. The Guardians, on the other hand, got smoked with a 21-point defeat to the Houston Roughnecks as just +3.5-point underdogs. While the under on the point total might look enticing, Orlando let up a league-high 33 points last week.
Houston Roughnecks Vs. Arlington Renegades
- Moneyline: Roughnecks (-175) vs. Renegades (+150)
- Total: 40 Points
- Spread: Roughnecks -4
This matchup is the only one in Week 2 between two 1-0 teams but has the largest set spread of the week. The Roughnecks are favored after their efficient scoring and elite defense that held the Guardians to just 12 points in Week 1. Although Arlington won their matchup in the opening week, it was decided by just two points with no offensive touchdowns. All of their TDs came on defense with two pick 6s.
Updated XFL Championship Odds Heading Into Week 2
There was some heavy movement in the XFL Championship odds following the opening week. The only team that remained put were the St. Louis BattleHawks who stayed with the shortest odds to win but strengthened them going from +400 to +375. The D.C. Defenders joined them though with the shortest odds at +375 as well after opening the season at +600.
The Houston Roughnecks stayed put at +400 odds but the Arlington Renegades tied them at +400 after dropping from their +550 Week 1 odds.
Both the Sea Dragons and Vipers saw slight dips in their odds as well. Seattle went from +500 to +600 while the Vipers dropped from +650 to +700.
The Brahmas and Guardians saw the biggest shifts. The Brahmas dropped from +650 way down to +900 while the Guardians remained with the shortest odds but went from +1200 to +1400.
