Case Keenum, D’Ernest Johnson, Noah Fant TNF Player Props

  • Case Keenum has -115 odds to throw UNDER 30.5 passing attempts.
  • D’Ernest Johnson’s total rushing yards is set at 55.5
  • Noah Fant has +110 odds to have UNDER 4 receptions.

CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Browns and Denver Broncos will kick off Week 7 of the season for Thursday Night Football. The Browns are going into the game as 1.5-point favorites even though Baker Mayfield, Nick Chubb, and Kareem Hunt will not suit up.

With those players out for the Browns, Case Keenum will start in place of Baker Mayfield while D’Ernest Johnson will serve as the lead running back. On the Broncos, Noah Fant has player props that could turn out profitable.

Case Keenum Passing Attempts

Total Passing Attempts – Case Keenum

  • OVER 30.5 -115
  • UNDER 30.5 -115

Online NFL betting sites have given Keenum a fair passing attempt total considering the situation he is going into. Opposing quarterbacks tend to throw the ball more against the Denver Broncos. Four of the six QBs that have gone against the Broncos this season have gone OVER 30.5 passing attempts. Those names include Daniel Jones, Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, and Lamar Jackson.

On average, opposing quarterbacks are putting up 32.3 passing attempts per game against the Broncos this season. Something else to take into consideration is that the Browns offensive line could be without three of their starters in Jedrick Wills, Jack Conklin, and JC Tretter which could force Keenum to throw balls away more often.

D’Ernest Johnson Rushing Yard Total

Total Rushing Yards – D’Ernest Johnson

  • OVER 55.5 -115
  • UNDER 55.5 -115

The Cleveland Browns are going into the game without their two star running backs in Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt, leaving D’Ernest Johnson to take over as the RB1. Johnson has started just one game in his career, which came last season where he put up 95 rushing yards. Granted, that happened against a Dallas Cowboys defense allowing the second-most rushing yards per game.

Fast track to his second start here against the Denver Broncos, they are a Top-5 defense against the run this season. They have allowed 85.5 total rushing yards per game this year and only allowed two players to go OVER 55.5 rushing yards in Najee Harris and Latavius Murray.

It is also worth noting that both Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr. could be taking the field together for the first time this season, which could shift the offensive focus to the passing game.

With potentially three starting offensive linemen out against a lethal rush defense, Johnson’s rushing yards could be hard to come by.

Noah Fant Reception Total

Total Receptions – Noah Fant

  • OVER 4 -145
  • UNDER 4 +110

Many might think that four receptions is more than attainable for Fant to accomplish, however, he is going up against the Browns defense that ranks 22nd against opposing tight ends. The Browns have allowed 16 total receptions to opposing tight ends this season and have only allowed Travis Kelce to hit the OVER with six receptions.

As for Fant, he has hit the OVER three times this season, however, they have all come against bottom-10 defenses with tight ends in the New York Giants, Las Vegas Raiders, and Baltimore Ravens.

The Browns' defense against opposing wide receivers is known to be shaky, having let up 1,119 yards to receivers this season. Knowing this, the Broncos could look to attack the Browns secondary for deep balls rather than drag routes, where linebackers are defending that could lean towards the UNDER hitting in this matchup.

The game begins on Thursday at 8:20 p.m. EST on FOX.
