ARLINGTON, Texas – The XFL is kicking things off this weekend with games on Saturday and Sunday as eight teams are a part of the relaunch for 2023.
This launch gives Super Bowl betting fans another weekend of online betting, with four games to wager on.
The Vegas Vipers are visiting the Arlington Renegades for the first game of the weekend, and the Renegades are slight favorites for the matchup.

Brett Hundley is leading the charge for the Vipers as a recent pickup and has some experience in the NFL, having nine total starts for the Green Bay Packers during the 2017 season. While he has had the chance to sit behind and learn from Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, and Kyler Murray, Hundley recorded nine touchdowns across and 13 interceptions in his short career in the NFL.
Coached by Bob Stoops, the Renegades have the upper hand for this week one matchup, with their starting QB having chemistry with one of their top receivers from the 2022 USFL season. Kyle Sloter led the Portland Breakers to the postseason with the help of TE Sal Canella, and the two teammates get to take the field together again but this time for Arlington in 2023.

Deondre Francois is expected to get the start for the Orlando Guardians, as the former Florida State University QB and Orlando native is getting to play back in FL as they take on the favored Renegades.
The Roughnecks are expected to start FL native Brandon Silvers who played for Troy University in college. His best season took place in 2017 where he threw for 3290 passing yards, 17 TDs and seven interceptions at Troy.
Silvers played four XFL games for Seattle in 2020 and went 1-3 SU.

The St. Louis Battlehawks start their 2023 XFL debut on the road against the San Antonio Brahms and are expected to leave with a win on Sunday. The first week of XFL odds to win the championship have the Battlehawks with the shortest odds at +350.
The Sea Dragons and the Defenders have a pick’em situation, as both teams have -110 odds for the first week of the season. However, Josh Gordon at receiver and June Jones as offensive coordinator in Seattle could be enough for the Sea Dragons to beat the Defenders in DC on Sunday.
