- The Kansas City Chiefs odds to win the Super Bowl are -120.
- There is a 1-point spread in favor of the Chiefs.
- The Chiefs have trailed by 10 points in their last three Super Bowl wins.
NEW ORLEANS – The Kansas City Chiefs are headed to the Super Bowl with -120 odds and just a 1-point spread leaning in their favor over the Philadelphia Eagles.
While there is plenty of value in betting on them before kickoff, even more value could be made from Super Bowl 59 betting sites when the live odds open.
Chiefs Find Ways To Win From Behind
In each of the three Super Bowl’s that the Chiefs have won with Patrick Mahomes, they all have one thing in common and that is that they’ve won after being down by exactly 10 points in the game.
In 2019, at Super Bowl LIV, Kansas City found themselves down 20-10 late in the third quarter against the San Francisco 49ers. Once the fourth quarter started, they went off for three straight touchdowns and eventually winning 31-10.
Fast track to Super Bowl LVII in 2023 in their first Super Bowl matchup with the Eagles, they trailed 24-14 going into the second half. They stormed back here as well outscoring Philly 24-11 in the second half which led to a 38-35 win.
Looking back to last year at Super Bowl 58 in their second Super Bowl meeting with the 49ers, they fell behind quickly with 10-0 advantage to the Niners in the second quarter. They held San Francisco to just one more touchdown and two field goals for the rest of the game on their way to a 25-22 victory.
Something else that all three of these Super Bowl titles have in common is that the Chiefs never scored first in either of these games.
Trust The Chiefs If They Score First?
The Chiefs have one Super Bowl loss between their three victories which came in 2020 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. For the sake of the trend, the Chiefs were the first team to score in the game and ended up getting demolished 31-9 in a loss.
With all said, the Chiefs Super Bowl 59 odds can remain trusted at any point during the game, especially if they fall to exactly a 10-point deficit.
