Its Tua Time: Betting On Tua Tagovailoa Season Props

With Tua now being named the starter, NFL sportsbooks have listed different prop bets on how he will perform in Week 8 as well as the season.

Looking at the Dolphins upcoming matchup with the Rams, NFL odds are clearly favoring the Rams to win. They are likely fighting for a playoff spot while the Dolphins are in experimental mode.

As for how Tua will perform, he does have a matchup with a tough Rams defense for his starting debut which could keep him under the total combined yardage.

In the 7 games that the Rams have played this season, they have been able to keep opposing quarterbacks under 250.5 combined rushing and passing yards in three games. Something else to keep note of is that Ryan Fitzpatrick was able to hit the over in three of six games this season.

Being that this is Tua’s first game starting, he could stay under as he gets comfortable in the offense.

Aside from their being a prop bet on how Tua will do in his starting debut, there are also odds on how he will perform for the remainder of the season as the starting quarterback.

Tua is favored to remain the starter for the rest of the season but bettors could take a flyer here if he does perform under average. If this happens, there is no doubt that Fitz would move back in under center and give bettors some nice money.

Looking at the passing yard total, Tua is favored to stay under 2380.5.

He has a nice chance at staying under as Tua brings more to the table than Fitz where he offers a nice passing arm and also the ability to run which could take away passing yardage from him.

As for his interceptions, bettors could take the risk here as well with the over as there are 10 games left in the season.

It is bound to happen as Dolphins quarterbacks and interceptions go together like white on rice. Just some food for thought here, Fitz has thrown seven interceptions on the year in just six games.
