- A.J. Brown comes in at +650 to have the most receiving yards in the Divisional round.
- Brown has the most 150-yard games this season of any receiver in the weekend with 3.
- Travis Kelce (+1200) faces the softest defense vs the Jacksonville Jaguars who allow 239.3 yards per game.
LAS VEGAS – With a slate of four games for the Divisional round of the NFL playoffs, NFL sportsbooks have created a prop for the most receiving yards of any player this weekend.
Cincinnati Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase enters as the favorite at +550 odds, with Philadelphia Eagles receiver A.J. Brown coming in second at +650, and Buffalo Bills receiver Stefon Diggs at +800 odds rounds out the top three.
A.J. Brown Boasts Highest Ceiling
Among all eligible players for the prop, A.J. Brown is the one with the highest ceiling of anyone available. Despite not being listed as the favorite at NFL betting sites, AJB is the only receiver that has registered 150+ yards in multiple games, with three.
His yards per catch also comes in at a whopping 17.0, good enough for fifth most in the league and second-most of any divisional player, behind Gabriel Davis.
Among the top 25 receiving yards performances on the season, Brown has three of them, while the rest of the players combine for 3 total: Tyler Boyd, Gabriel Davis, and Eagles teammate DeVonta Smith are the others.
Another stat that should inspire confidence in Brown bettors is that he has the most receiving yards through the last five weeks, averaging a strong 119 yards per game and finishing the season against the Giants with 95 yards.
Travis Kelce Takes on the Worst Pass Defense
With only eight teams remaining, most of the defenses are stout and aren’t particularly weak against the pass, except for Kelce’s opponent: the Jaguars. NFL oddsmakers have set his odds at +1200, signaling that it is unlikely that Kelce will be able to outgain other receivers who have more speed and big-play ability. However, no other team has Patrick Mahomes and many of the other players have secondary big yardage playmakers at receiver, such as DeVonta Smith for the Eagles.
Kelce finished the season with 152 targets, while Juju Smith-Schuster finished with the second most on the Kansas City Chiefs with 101.
Kelce has consistently been the favorite target of Patrick Mahomes since he entered the league, this is then paired with the worst pass defense still in the playoffs and bettors may be able to find sneaky value.
