ATLANTA — The coronavirus pandemic has paused the sports world which has caused many fans to find alternate ways to fill the void no sports has left. One of the more popular betting trends now is betting on Bleacher Report’s Madden NFL 20 simulation tournament.

The tournament features every team in the NFL’s collection of best players to ever play at each position. The simulations are being streamed on twitch.tv and have had some former NFL players watching their former team's games live with fans.

Today’s Madden 20 slate of streams features four late games that should all be tightly contested as with these video game simulations anything can happen. Betting on these games is quite simple and is similar to betting on a regular NFL game.

Washington Redskins (-2.5) vs. Miami Dolphins @ 4 p.m. EST

The Washington Redskins are 2.5-point favorites to beat the Miami Dolphins in the Madden NFL 20 simulation today. If a bettor is fishing for an upset in this matchup the Dolphins money line is listed at +100 odds. Take the odds on the Dolphins to pull off the upset over the Redskins. The O/U is listed at 44.5 and bettors should feel comfortable taking the Under in this matchup as neither team’s offense has lit up the scoreboard in these simulations.

Los Angeles Rams vs. San Francisco 49ers (-2.5) @ 6 p.m. EST

In an all-time showdown between two NFC West rivals the Los Angeles Rams take on the San Francisco 49ers. Each team has had its fair share of Hall of Fame players that will be at play here and the 49ers are slight 2.5-point favorites to beat the Rams.

The 49ers will have players like Jerry Rice and Joe Montana which should give them an edge over the greatest show on turf. This game will be a high scoring affair and has the highest O/U total of any simulations today at 51.5. The Over should hit in this matchup and take the odds on that to happen. Take the 49ers ATS tonight as the money line odds for both teams aren’t profitable (49ers -135, Rams -105).

Atlanta Falcons (-3) vs. Arizona Cardinals @ 8 p.m. EST

The Atlanta Falcons are favored to beat the Arizona Cardinals by a field goal in there Madden simulation matchup tonight. The Cardinals being the underdog have +130 money line odds but will have a tall task trying to take on the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons roster features players like Deion Sanders, Michael Vick, Warrick Dunn, and Julio Jones who will present a plethora of problems for Arizona.

The total in this game is set at 49, but take the Under as the Falcons will likely do most of the scoring in this simulation. The Cardinals have playmakers on their team like Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald but that likely won’t be enough to overtake a strong Falcons defense. Expect the Falcons to cover comfortably as the -3 spread seems to be generous.

Dallas Cowboys (-13.5) vs. New York Jets @ 10 p.m.

The Dallas Cowboys have had some of the greatest players to ever play the game of football put on a Cowboys jersey which explains why they own the largest spread of any team on the slate of simulations. Dallas is favored by nearly two touchdowns (-13.5) to beat the New York Jets. The Jets have +300 odds which are the longest underdog odds of the slate of games today. The Over/Under for this game is set at 46.5 and the Over should be taken with confidence.
