- Sportsbooks have +4000 odds for the Miami Dolphins to win Super Bowl LVII.
- The Dolphins added Tyreek Hill to their roster in the offseason.
- The Dolphins have +450 odds tow in the AFC East.
MIAMI – The Miami Dolphins are a legitimate threat for Super Bowl 57 betting fans this season thanks to their offseason roster improvements.
Adding Tyreek Hill from the Kansas City Chiefs to their roster shortened the Phins’ betting odds from +5000 to +4000 showing that Super Bowl sportsbooks are expecting improvement on the roster.
The Phins are also now the second favorites to claim the AFC East in which they finished third during the 2021-2022 NFL Season.
AFC East Winner
- Buffalo Bills -230
- Miami Dolphins +450
- New England Patriots +500
- New York Jets +2800
The Dolphins finished with a 9-8 record on the year. However, the Phins finished the season on an 8-1 run showing a midseason turnaround.
Miami was one win away from claiming the second seed against the New England Patriots whom they beat twice last season. In fact, the Dolphins have not lost to the Patriots with Tua as the starting QB since he was drafted.
The roster improvements should allow Miami to start off the season better and not go 1-7 and be forced to win all of their remaining games to claim the division.
The Buffalo Bills who are favored to claim the division are also favored to win the Super Bowl. Miami Dolphins lost to the Bills twice last season but still could have claimed the division had Tua not been injured. Miami’s seven-game win streak came once Tua returned from injury.
Miami Dolphins AFC Championship Odds +2000
Miami Dolphins betting fans who are already betting on the Phins long Super Bowl odds should double down and also take Miami to win the AFC Championship.
The Cincinnati Bengals were +5000 longshots to win the AFC headed into the season and even saw their odds as long as +8000 after Week 1. The Bengals went on to dominate during the playoffs and earned a Super Bowl Birth.
Miami could potentially go on another historic run like the Bengals did. The Bengals were number one in the AFC North but only finished 10-7; just one more win than Miami.
Miami Dolphins Super Bowl LVII Odds +4000
In addition to the Hill addition, Miami took some strides in improving their offensive line which was one of the worse in the league last season. The Dolphins allowed 40 sacks during the season with a season-high six sacks coming in Week 2.
The Phins added T Terron Armstead and G Connor Williams to improve the protection surrounding QB Tua Tagovailoa. Tua was sacked 20 times last season in 13 games played.
The more solid offensive line and the improvements in offense with the addition of Tyreek Hill makes the Dolphins legitimate contenders to win it all next season.
