NFC Championship Wide Receiver Props: Terry McLaurin, AJ Brown

  • Terry McLaurin’s odds for his receiving yard total are set at 64.5.
  • AJ Brown has a 60.5 yard receiving total.

PHILADELPHIA – Yes, some of the top wide receivers will take the field in the NFC Championship between the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders.

On Super Bowl sportsbooks, bettors should be looking at Terry McLaurin and AJ Brown’s receiving yard totals.

However, the main thing that should be on bettors minds is the fact that both the Eagles and Commanders are top-5 secondaries in the league against opposing receivers.

Terry McLaurin’s Hot Streak In Jeopardy?

Terry McLaurin Total Receiving Yards

  • Over 64.5 -115
  • Under 64.5 -115

There is no hiding that Scary Terry has been on a tear in the playoffs having posted 85+ yards in both games to this point and that his Commanders props for his receiving yards well under that number.

His matchup could not be tougher though. The Eagles allow a league low 174.2 receiving yards per game to opposing receivers. They’ve held receivers to under 64.5 yards in three of their last four games heading into the NFC title game.

Looking at McLaurin against the Eagles specifically this season, in the two games that they’ve faced off, they’ve held McLaurin under his projected yard total both times. Not only has he stayed under his yard total, but under 64.5 yards as well.

Helping McLaurin stay under his receiving yard total even more is the fact that there are already high hopes on betting sites for Jayden Daniels rushing with a 54.5 rush yard total and a 10.5 rush attempt total. Both of which will eat into McLaurin’s receiving game.

Can AJ Brown Overcome Slump?

AJ Brown Total Receiving Yards

  • Over 60.5 -115
  • Under 60.5 -115

Not to put it lightly, but AJ Brown has had the playoffs from hell so far only catching three of his 10 targets for 24 yards across both games. His path in the postseason gets it’s toughest matchup yet against a Commanders defense that allows 189.5 receiving yards per game to opponents, the third lowest in the NFL.

In his last two meetings with the Commanders this season, he’s gone 1-1 going over and under against his projected yard total.

Similar to McLaurin’s downside with Jayden Daniels, Brown has it even worse with Saquon Barkley being the go to offensive weapon for this Eagles offense. Saquon has a massive 128.5 yard total and he’s commanding 25+ carries a game in the postseason.

That said, it’s hard to trust anything but the under here for Brown’s Eagles prop betting odds.
