FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – After Week 10 of the NFL season, there’s a lot of overreactions to be had... like the New England Patriots being a Super Bowl betting option, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers being overrated and that Russell Wilson is past his prime and the team should move on from him.

Many believed that when the New England Patriots lost Tom Brady it would take years and years for them to return to Super Bowl contenders. However, Mac Jones may already be able to return the team to the promised land.

Following New England’s dismantling of the Cleveland Browns, the Patriots now have the second-best point differential in the entire NFL (+98). To put things into perspective, they’ve scored more points than the Kansas City Chiefs and have allowed fewer points than every team aside from the Buffalo Bills.

Given their 6-4 record and apparent outside chance to win the division, bettors may not want to back the Patriots as a wild card team. However, New England is a perfect 4-0 on the road this year, showing they don’t need home-field advantage to make a run.

Tom Brady And The Buccaneers Are Getting Exposed

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have now lost two straight games after the Washington Football Team’s big upset. What people often overlook, sportsbooks included, is that the Buccaneers are two plays away from being 4-5 this season.

Tampa hit a last-second field goal to beat the Cowboys while the Patriots missed a game-winning field goal against them in Week 4. The only convincing wins the Bucs have are against the Atlanta Falcons, Miami Dolphins and Chicago Bears, teams with a combined 10-18 record.

They may very well turn things around, but at the moment there is no team more overrated than Tampa Bay.

Seahawks Should Let Russell Wilson Go

Russell Wilson admitted to having a list of teams he’d want to be traded to, and it might be time for the Seattle Seahawks to look into it. Obviously, the trade deadline has past but this should be the final season Wilson plays in Seattle, for both his and the team’s sake.

The Seahawks are 2-4 in games where Wilson plays this year and in those games, he’s averaging 226.2 yards per game on a 66.7% clip. He is also just 18th in the league in total QBR.

While Seattle may not have a backup plan in place, the roster is clearly not able to compete. The franchise should trade Wilson while he still has value and multiple years remaining on his deal to start the rebuild process with some extra draft picks.
