Packers Become Super Bowl LV Co-Favorites With Chiefs

• The Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers both have +200 odds to win the Super Bowl.

TAMPA BAY, Fla. — The Kansas City Chiefs have been favored to win the 2021 Super Bowl all throughout both the NFL regular season and the playoffs and it is no secret as to why being that they finished the season with the best record in the league at 14-2.

Fast forward to just days out of the Conference Championship round of the playoffs, NFL sportsbooks now have the Green Bay Packers tied with the Kansas City Chiefs for the shortest odds to win the Super Bowl and rightfully so.

The Kansas City Chiefs remain the favorites to win the Super Bowl after they defeated the Cleveland Browns in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.

Although they took down the Browns, the Chiefs suffered a huge blow as Patrick Mahomes is in question to play in the AFC Championship after being forced into the NFL concussion protocol.

That being said, Chad Henne could be in line to start against the Buffalo Bills.

With Mahomes now questionable to play in the AFC Championship Game, the oddsmakers have taken note of this as they have boosted the Green Bay Packers to the shortest odds along with the Chiefs.

They blasted the LA Rams in the Divisional Round 32-18 and are favored to take down the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Championship as well.

With that being said, if there were ever a time to bet on the Green Bay Packers to win the Super Bowl, now would be the time to do so in the event that the Chiefs do not make it out of the AFC Championship.

Other Super Bowl 55 odds to take advantage of here would be the odds on the exact matchup.

However, if Mahomes does in fact sit the AFC Championship out, the Buffalo Bills could be in line to take them out as they are looking to make a statement.

That being said, money could potentially be made betting on a matchup between the Green Bay Packers and Buffalo Bills.
