KANSAS CITY – The NFL’s MVP race has shifted yet again after Week 11 providing NFL bettors with another week of play to decide where to place their bets.

Coming into this week of play Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was the favorite to win the award and after his performance against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday Night Football, Mahomes has grown his lead on the odds board.

Diving deeper as to why Mahomes has already separated himself from the pack in the MVP race is simple. He’s the best player on the best team in the NFL. On top of that Mahomes now leads the NFL in passing yards with 3,035. His 27 passing touchdowns on the season are third-most in the NFL only trailing Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson.

Should NFL bettors only look to place bets on Mahomes odds at this point? Not yet but when looking at the field Russell Wilson is the only quarterback that has a legitimate shot to sneak back into the conversation. Since Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers just lost to the Indianapolis Colts, his MVP case took a major hit.
