With this news, NFL sportsbooks might not have shifted many of the New England Patriots odds, however, this could be turn out very profitable if Jones comes into the lineup and lights it up.
New England Patriots Odds
- Super Bowl: +3000
- AFC Championship: +1500
- AFC East: +350
Jones’ style of play is more of what the Patriots have been used to over the years while they still had Tom Brady under center - a pocket passer who can deliver accurate passes all over the field.
As the New England Patriots playbook shifts back to the one that won them six Super Bowls, it is hard to not consider their odds, as they jump into contention with some of the best teams in the league.
Mac Jones OROY Odds
One notable odds shift came with the odds to win Offensive Rookie of the Year. Mac Jones opened up the offensive ROY odds at +1200 and with the release of Newton, they jumped to +450 - the shortest for all rookies not named Trevor Lawrence.
Jones’ offense has plenty more weapons for him to work with including Jakobi Meyers, Hunter Henry, and James White. With that, all of the Patriots odds for the season can and should be trusted and Mac Jones is fully expected to make a strong run for the Offensive Rookie of the Year honors.
