PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia Eagles have had quite the road to get to Super Bowl 59 both on paper and from a betting standpoint.
Their odds to win Super Bowl 59 are slight underdogs going into the game at +115, however, compared to where they opened, they’ve really proven oddsmakers wrong.
Back when the Eagles Super Bowl odds were first posted, they came in at a whopping +2200 and have been on a the rise ever since. They quickly dipped below +2000 ahead of Week 1, but they did hover between +1100 and +1600 up until after Week 10 when they dropped under +1000 and with an 8-2 record.
They went on to finish the season 14-3 with their odds continuously getting stronger over the course and even becoming the outright favorite to win the Super Bowl at one point.
The Eagles went into the playoffs with +700 Super Bowl odds and moved on to the Divisional Round with +400 odds. With the last four teams standing in the conference championships, the Eagles were favored above the rest with +180 odds to win Super Bowl 59.
