- Matthew Stafford has season totals of 4595.5 yards (over, -130) and 28.5 touchdowns.
- The Los Angeles Rams have -200 odds to make the playoffs but are favored (-130) to win under 10.5 wins.
LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Rams gave up Jared Goff and two first-round draft picks to the Detroit Lions to acquire Matthew Stafford. The team now has the fifth-shortest odds to win the Super Bowl, but aren’t favored to win their own division.
Matthew Stafford’s Odds
Matthew Stafford has always been one of the more talented quarterbacks in the NFL but has never really been in a good position to succeed. In his 12 seasons, he has only had four years with above a .500 record.
That’s expected to change this year, largely due to his individual expectations.
Matthew Stafford Passing Yards Totals
- Over 4595.5 -130
- Under 4595.5 EVEN
Matthew Stafford Passing Touchdowns Total
- Over 28.5 -115
- Under 28.5 -115
Those betting on the NFL should be aware that Stafford has only hit this yardage mark in three seasons and has yet to do so since 2013. However, with the added 17th game to the NFL schedule, he has a much better chance of hitting his mark.
The passing touchdown total may be a little easier to hit as he’s thrown for 29 or more touchdowns four times and now has potentially his best receiving core. With Cam Akers getting hurt, Stafford may have higher passing numbers to compensate.
The Rams are thought to have one of the better rosters in the NFL. Not only is the roster talented, but it’s projected to be successful.
Los Angeles Rams - To Make The Playoffs
- Yes -200
- No +150
For as favored as the Rams are to make the playoffs, the team isn’t expected to do so through the division. It’s not often that a team has the fifth-shortest odds (+1400) to win the Super Bowl on sports betting sites, but isn't favored in their own division.
NFC West Division Winner
- San Francisco 49ers +180
- Los Angeles Rams +185
- Seattle Seahawks +280
- Arizona Cardinals +550
Although it’s close, Los Angeles may have to qualify through a Wild Card spot. Given their 10.5-game win total, they should be right in contention to do so. Despite the under being favored (-130), Stafford can lead the Rams to a great spot to win the NFC West and make a real run at the Super Bowl.
