LAS VEGAS – Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley are getting married, and the online sportsbooks have seen a chance to place odds on a pop culture event.
Rodgers’ strained relationship with his family is well known. The star QB is reported to no longer speak to his family.
His brother, Jordan Rodgers, has implied on more than one occasion that Aaron is a bad son, and once publicly accused Aaron of not calling his mother during a fire.
It’s not our place to speculate on why this rift exists, but the online sportsbooks have placed odds on whether the two estranged brothers will see each other for the Packers QB’s wedding.
Will Jordan Rodgers Attend Aaron Rodgers Wedding?
- Yes -220
- No +155
The online NFL sportsbooks believe that duty will win out, and Jordan will both be invited and attend.
US Weekly had an exclusive source that pointed out that it is entirely possible that Jordan, or other Rodgers kin, are not invited at all.
“Aaron is still thinking about which family members to invite. It’s something that’s weighing heavily on him,” said the source. “It’ll for sure be a special day and it would be wrong of him to not invite his family, but everyone is aware of their strained relationship and knows that [those] problems aren’t going to get fixed in one day. Whether they decide to come [is] up to them.”
This must be a tough decision, and sports-betting-website-jocular-tone aside, we wish both sides of this dispute the best going forward.
