- The game between the Los Angeles Rams and the Seattle Seahawks will be postponed until Tuesday.
- The Seahawks could be without WR Tyler Lockett, as he has entered COVID-19 protocols.
- The Rams have -280 odds to win the game, up from -220 on Thursday.
LOS ANGELES - Before Tyler Lockett’s COVID-19 designation, the Los Angeles Rams were -220 favorites against the Seattle Seahawks.
Lockett’s COVID-19 designation - among others - forced the game to be moved to Tuesday and the Rams are now -280 favorites according to the NFL sportsbooks.
The Rams have won their last three home games against the Seahawks, and it seems the online sportsbooks expect another win here.
Seattle Seahawks Vs. Los Angeles Rams Odds
- Seattle Seahawks +230
- Los Angeles Rams -280
The spread also moved significantly towards the Rams after the game was rescheduled - it was sitting at Rams -5.5 on Thursday before the news broke and the NFL sportsbooks adjusted.
Seattle Seahawks Vs. Los Angeles Rams Spread Odds
- Seattle Seahawks +6.5
- Los Angeles Rams -6.5
Both teams are near the middle of the pack in terms of ATS records - the Seahawks are 7-6 ATS, while the Rams are 6-7 ATS.
The Seahawks need this win to keep their slow-moving season alive, and theoretically are not eliminated from playoff contention yet. The Rams picked up a marquee win last week when they beat the Arizona Cardinals, and need wins to keep pace in the race for the first seed.
The Rams are definitely favored, but they’ve struggled in positions like this. They’re 2-7 against the spread when they face off against teams with losing records. In addition, they’re 1-6 against the spread in their last seven games played in which they’ve been the favorite.
The Seahawks have succeeded in positions like this before, however - they’ve covered the spread 11 times out of their last 15 as road underdogs.
The Los Angeles Rams may take on the Seattle Seahawks a bit late on Tuesday, but the game should be excellent - and will be broadcast on NFL Sunday Ticket and FOX.
